Propel Labs was founded in early 2007 by the former Cytomation, Inc. principals who have a long track record of success with the MoFlo^* high-speed cell sorter and the CyAn^* high-speed cell analyzer. Propel Labs is a privately held biotechnology instrumentation company headquartered in Fort Collins, CO.

The Propel Labs team possess decades of experience in product development within the biomedical and biotechnology fields. Propel Labs’ team of engineers are experienced in both hardware and software product development, creating synergies that allow for rapid and responsive service to its clients. Currently, the Propel Labs team holds 5 patents, 4 pending patents and are authors on numerous papers on flow cytometry.
