Electronics Technician / R&D Technician
Work with electrical and mechanical engineers to create custom cables and test fixtures to assist in research, development, and manufacturing. Create cable and connectorized-device drawings and assist in quoting, sourcing, and testing. Perform initial testing, programming, manufacturing, and life testing on circuit boards and electromechanical assemblies. Organize R&D test equipment, areas, tools, and components. Experience with cable assembly including crimp tools, soldering, and general electrical experience highly preferred. Must be very hands-on, creative, self-willed, self-motivated, and appreciate being part of a flexible, dynamic team.
Position is a full time, 40 hours per week, salaried position. Salary commensurate with experience. Work schedule is generally flexible within the 7AM to 6PM time frame at the Fort Collins, CO Propel site. Limited travel requirement. Generous benefits package included.
The primary responsibilities for a manufacturing assembler include following written work instructions to build and test electromechanical, fluidic, and optical assemblies. To do this successfully, it is important to work well in a team environment with engineers and manufacturing personnel. The ability to use hand tools, power tools, and computers is a must. The successful candidate will demonstrate great attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work.
This role is for a person who enjoys new challenges, troubleshooting, multi-tasking, providing feedback, as well as building and maintaining an organized work space. The candidate must be very hands-on, reliable, creative, self-willed, self-motivated, and appreciate being part of a flexible, dynamic team.

Work with mechanical engineers to create drawings for machined and sheet metal parts in Solidworks. Assist with quoting, data organization, and general tasks. Experience with drawing formats, Solidworks, and GD&T required. Must be focused and take pride in creating quality work.
Position is temporary for a 3-6 month duration, up to 40 hours per week, paid hourly.
